Christmas activities

The weekend after Thanksgiving, we always head out to cut down a Christmas Tree.  It is the beginning of our holiday activities.

This year, Carter was big enough to help out...

Abby thought that this one was just her size.  She is raising her hand up just like Patrick and I do to check the height of the tree we are looking at.

Ever since Carter was born, I have taken the kids to Build a Bear at Christmas to make a bear and record their sound at that age.  It was sad, but Carter decided that he was too old for this.  I knew my time was coming but it was so funny how Abby REALLY got into the whole thing.  Such a difference in boys and girls.

Abby had her Christmas performance at school.  She was so excited and had been practicing so hard and loud.  When it was time to hit the stage.  She just stood there and that was it....

I do a freezer meal swap with 5 other moms each month and we got together in December for our freezer meal swap and cookie exchange.  The kids came too and we had fun getting everyone in the same picture.

Abby has been taking ballet through her school and absolutely loves it.  Here she is at her mid year performance...
