The kids...

We really have not been up to too much lately. Abby has started crawling some (the PT in me does not really think that she is strong enough for this) but she loves moving around. Carter still loves school and making Abby laugh. I will have to get a video of that soon. We are going to Myrtle Beach for a long weekend with Patrick's family over Labor Day. Carter is so excited to play in the sand and this will be Abby's first official trip to "the beach". Should be fun... Here are a few pictures of the kids...

Carter at a friend's birthday party. He is growing up so much. Here she goes CRAWLING and so happy.Just lounging at the pool. Notice Gramps, chilling in the background.Abby loves the water too...

Abby with a look of "he's giving me a hug, AGAIN".

Abby sitting by herself. She can do it, she just chooses to be on her hand and knees.

Ready, set, go...

Abby is 6 months old

It is hard to believe, but Abby is 6 months old. Time Flies. She is 27 inches long and weighs 15 1/2 lbs. She is rocking on her hands and knees and rolling everywhere. It won't be long before she is crawling all around the house. Look out Carter. When she is crying, all she needs is Carter to come and laugh at her and she instantly laughs too. It is so cute. They adore each other. Enjoy these 6 month pictures.

Growing Kids

Just wanted to show a few pictures of Carter and Abby together. We have still been keeping busy and doing lots of fun things. I can't believe that Abby is going to be 6 months old soon. Time flies...My new favorite picture of the kids. Daddy was gone all last week for Annual Training for work and here is what he was greeted with when he got home. Smiles all around. She wrinkles her nose
The kids and I went to Myrtle Beach for the day last week to visit my friend Jack and his family. Jack and I went to PT school together. They live in West Virginia and come to the beach each year for vacation. This is the second year we went to visit. The picture is of Anthony, Carter and Olivia. They went crazy in this mini-arcade.

Carter winning something at the claw machine. Everyone was winning...

We went out on the pier with the kids and here is Carter and Anthony. They are very close in age. Anthony turned 4 in March.Abby enjoyed her first trip to the ocean by hanging out in her stroller.
After having breakfast and seeing some sights, the kids just wanted to get in the water. Here we are heading to the pool. From all of these activities, Abby was wiped out. Enough that she liked sleeping holding her feet. If only we could all do that.
She went from sleeping like that to little miss happy in no time.

Carter just loving on his little sister. He is having so much fun with her.

I thought that I should add this extra "girly" shot.

Today was my normal Wednesday to be off so we met a friend at Monkey Joes. It is a bounce house place. Carter and Ryan just chillin in between jumps.

It would be hard not to point out that Abby has a new activity. She gets on her hands and knees and rocks and then gets on her hand and feet and pushes herself. It won't be long.

You can just see the love...

Carter Man

This summer Carter has got to do alot of fun things in the water. He still continues to be a great big brother and loves to just have fun. He is also enjoying his new school. Happy Carter in the bathtub. Love that smile.

Here is Carter outside before his swimming lessons. We went everynight for 2 weeks. He had a good time.
These next pictures are from the 4th of July when we went to Lake Murray with Aunt Stephanie's family.

Carter and Daddy on the jet-ski. Patrick said that he talked non-stop the whole time.
At the lake again.
Swimming at a friend's pool. Carter getting ready to jump in.
Carter on the boat at a friend's brithday party.

Finally, Carter has graduated and there is no siderail on his bed anymore. He is doing great, other than the other night when he must have been on the floor for awhile because his spot was warm.
