Abby is 3....

It is hard to believe but Abby is 3. We had her party a few weeks ago and a friend of mine came to take pictures and I have been waiting for to let you all know about Abby's fun day. Beware, there are alot of pictures in this post.
We had a Cupcake decorating party at our house for the kids in Abby's class at school. She was so excited and talked about her party for days.
We had present opening...
We had a few boys to play with. Carter helped to entertain, as I quickly realized from earlier experiences with Carter that girls can play with boys things a whole lot easier than boys can play with girls things.
We had reading..

We had hair styling...
We had coloring and stickers... Abby enjoyed her time with Nana..
We had chilling with friends and playing in Abby's room...
We had baking...
We had dress up.... and a lot of it....
We had party hats for the little cupcake decorators.
We had a cake in the shape of a cupcake made out of cupcakes...
We had a sweet 3 year old excited about blowing out her candle.
We had cupcake eating....
And then there was the cupcake decorating. These pictures are the before...

Each child got an apron that I made with their name on it...
Everyone got involved, even the dads....
Sweet girls, getting ready to get started...

Sometimes, it was more fun to eat the frosting and the sprinkles...
Everyone left at the end with a smile on their face and a box of yummy cupcakes that they decorated and dads got to wear party hats out the door.

These last pictures just show the sweetness of a little girl party.... Abby can't wait for her next party and thinks we should have one next week. I think I need a break. Can't believe my girl is 3...

These are the Plumlee Brothers, Miles, Mason, and Marshall. I told them that Mrs. Steiner wanted me to take the picture.
Let me explain a little bit about how this all happened. My mom was the elementary school librarian for the Plumlee brothers that play basketball for Duke. Recently, my mom emailed Mason a picture of Carter in his #5 Duke Jersey (Mason's number) that he got for Christmas. Since Duke was playing at Clemson, my mom asked about tickets and we were lucky enough get tickets to the game... After a great day of basketball, Carter was waiting for autographs after the game.
Carter got to meet Mason Plumbee. He signed Carter's Duke backboard and his jersey.
Marshall and Miles came out too. They were all so nice to us and we were so thankful for the chance to go to the game. It was amazing.
Carter with Mason Plumlee. He was so kind to Carter (who was actually a little nervous to meet them)
Now back to the game. Here are a ton of pictures. If you couldn't notice. We are sitting on row B, right behind the bench. They were the best seats possible. Miles #21, Mason #5 and Marshall to the far right.

More before the game.
Team huddle.
Waiting before the game. We were able to watch from above as the player's bus arrived.
You can see Miles in the front, Marshall with the gold headphones and Mason in the back with the blond hair.
Before the game, we looked around the Clemson fans. Patrick and Carter are actually Clemson fans, except when Duke is playing, so we enjoyed looking around.
Patrick and the Tiger.
There was an open area across from the football stadium and Carter just loved to run...
I just love this face....In front of the football stadium...
We had a great time and are so thankful for my mom and the Plumlees for making this happen... Carter was overwhelmed at times, but keeps taking about it all the time. Abby stayed with Nana and Gramps and had a good time getting her nails painted and being spoiled.
